About Baclaran

Baclaran is a barangay located in the northern area of the city of Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is also known to be located at the borders of the cities of Parañaque and Pasay. Because of its proximity to the shore of Manila Bay, the place was named after a piece of fishing equipment called "baklad". The Bureau of Communications Services is responsible for the development of communications services and for providing services relating to policy formulation, communication planning, project development, research and evaluation and the coordination of information planning within the framework of the overall thrusts and priorities of the National Development Plan.
